RIFF 2022

For the fifth time, the radically heterogeneous programme of the REAKTOR International Film Festival gathers a broad spectrum of inspiring films, beyond conventional categories and genres.

The programme consists of insights into the daily lives and challenges of Filipino women workers in Hong Kong, rhythmised by pop beats (We Don't Dance for Nothing), shrewd historiographical, yet urbi et orbi applicable, analyses of tyranny from Hungary (Tyranny), psychedelic AI-generated, visual labyrinths from London (bialy szum), an Iranian man-eater film in the style of Italian Westerns (Gallu), reflections on landscape from the perspective of plant life from the USA (A Valley Without Trees) and many more unique cinematic contributions from around the world.
