In Hacking the Piano, the musicians of the Belgian Tiptoe Company enter into dialogue with two artists and composers who have developed a very special relationship to a supposedly standard instrument: Patricia Alessandrini and Tim Mariën deconstruct, adapt and detune a colourful arsenal of pianos scattered around the room and create a strange wonderland full of exuberant sonic ideas.
